Participating in the inaugural cohort of the Entrepreneurship Exchange (EE) program has been an incredible experience. Achieving third place in the pitch competition with my team, Atmo-Drop, was a proud moment and a perfect capstone to weeks of hard work, creativity, and collaboration.

Atmo-Drop was born from the belief that basic infrastructure shouldn’t limit health outcomes. Our solution focuses on affordable, scalable air-quality data collection. In Morocco, many dense or hard to reach urban areas don’t have access to detailed, localized air-quality data. Improving this can help support better public health decisions, urban planning, and greater awareness about pollution exposure. We weren’t just creating a product; we were building a solution with real-world impact.

The Entrepreneurship Exchange program was transformative beyond the technical skills. Working across multiple time zones and cultures taught me that entrepreneurship is as much about communication, adaptability, and teamwork as it is about ideas. Aligning various perspectives was our biggest challenge, but overcoming it made our project stronger and more globally informed.

My takeaway? Embrace the pivot. Ideas must be resilient and responsive to real-world feedback. The mentorship, workshops, and sessions provided frameworks that helped our team make confident, informed decisions.

The program also highlighted the value of connections. Our collaboration was very team-driven. Ariel, our team leader, was highly organized and guided our structure and progress. Each teammate contributed actively, and working together from different backgrounds helped shape the project and the final pitch. Collaborating with peers from different backgrounds and learning from mentors offered insights I will carry into every future venture.

To future cohorts: Dive in fully! The lessons, networks, and experiences here are as valuable as the projects you create.

Thank you to David Estrada, program administrator, and the entire EE team for this incredible journey. This is just the beginning for Atmo-Drop—and for all of us.
